ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in in D.V.C. NO. 4 of 2025 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners herein are the in-laws of the respondent, and yet they have been unnecessarily roped in this case in DVC No.4 of 2025 by the respondent daughter-in-law. It was further submitted that the respondent has no locus standi to implead the petitioners in the domestic violence case and accordingly, sought the indulgence of this Court.

3. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the respondent, notice to her is dispensed with.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioners are the in-laws of the respondent, their appearance before the trial Court is dispensed, except upon occasions where the trial court specifically requires their appearance. The trial Court is further directed to dispose of DVC No.4 of 2025 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
