O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to carry out survey, measurement and demarcation of boundaries in Survey No.10/4E1 measuring to the extent of 0.8.50 Ares situated at Vanjinagaram Village, Melur Taluk Madurai District with the aid of the third respondent based on the petitioner's application dated 08.07.2025 and the reminder letter dated 11.11.2025.

2.With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6

3.Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4.The petitioners' grievance is that though they have made applications for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the subject land on 08.07.2025 & 11.11.2025, however, the same have been kept pending till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 3 would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. 6.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the applications of the petitioners dated 08.07.2025 & 11.11.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioners, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
