This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 25.11.2025, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the names of the third to sixth respondents and restoration of the patta in the name of the petitioner's mother in respect of S.No.91/1 and 74/3B situated at Ellakudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the patta was mutated in the names of the third to sixth respondents without the knowledge of the petitioner; and that although the petitioner's appeal was received, no action has been taken till now, and therefore he prays for a direction to consider and dispose of the same. 4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the first and second respondents submits that the petitioner's appeal would be considered and disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
