This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2025 and consequently mutate the patta and other relevant revenue records by including the name of the petitioner along with other legal heirs in respect of the properties comprised in Survey Nos. 128/2, 138/1E and 261/4, situated at Sellur Village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 21.11.2025 for mutation of revenue records. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the 2nd respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
