O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to re-consider the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.7953/24/A7 dated 30.10.2024 and Na.Ka.No.229/2024/ Mines dated 04.03.2025 as stated in the Petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025 within the stipulated period as framed fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the 1st respondent herein granted quarrying license to the petitioner's society on 10.01.2017 for a period of five years. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner society was not able to function and therefore, the Secretary of the said society made a request seeking for extension of time. However, the same was rejected by the respondents through their proceedings dated 30.10.2024 and 04.03.2025. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 2/4

23.06.2025, seeking to reconsider the said orders passed by the respondents. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents have no power to reconsider their own orders and therefore, the petitioner can challenge the said orders in the manner known to law.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that once the respondents passed an order rejecting the request of petitioner, the right Course available to the petitioner is to challenge the said order, in the manner known to law and not by way of make making representation seeking to reconsider the said orders. Therefore, I do not find any merits in the Writ Petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
