This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents herein to stop the shifting process of the TASMAC Shop bearing Number 10016, situated at Survey No.236/B1, Alampatti Village, Inam Maniyachi Village Panchayat, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District, without following the due procedure of law.

2. Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.S.Sivanesan, learned counsel takes notice for respondent Nos.2 and 3. Mr.G.Suriya Ananth, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the fifth respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that without giving prior notice to the petitioner, the respondents herein have taken steps to shift the wine shop to another place. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 24.11.2025. However, the said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
