ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to transfer the Investigation in Crime No.338/2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Nachiarkovil Police Station, Thanjavur/3rd Respondent herein to any other higher officer under the direct supervision of the 1st respondent herein.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter is all about the theft of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs only) from the house of the de facto complainant by breaking open his house when he was out of station. Despite giving CCTV footage to the 3rd respondent police, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition came to be filed. 3.Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 2nd respondent DSP is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent 2/5

is directed to conclude the investigation within a period of four weeks from today, and the 3rd respondent is directed to apprise the progress of the investigation every weekend to the 2nd respondent. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
