ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Special Judge/Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli District (Under the SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989) to consider the petitioner's bail application on his surrender on the same day, if any petition filed by him in FIR No.776/2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent, Manapparai Police Station, Trichy District.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

The case of the prosecution is that on 27.11.2025 at about 6.00 PM, the de facto complainant went to Chevalur Puliyanthoppu, where the petitioner along with three others abused him in filthy language. The petitioner picked up a stick and hit the de facto complainant on the head and right hand, causing a bleeding injury. The petitioner and three other accused assaulted him with hands 2/5

and pushed him down. They also issued a death threat. The de facto complainant's son Rahul was also injured. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the Special Judge/Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli District (Under the SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989), to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with FIR No.776 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
