PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondents 4 and 5 herein to forthwith reschedule and conduct 1st year M.P.Ed examination for the petitioners in the 6th respondent college namely, Mother Terasa College of Physical Education, Pudukkottai for the academic year 2025 - 2026 as early as possible and to publish the results.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to forthwith reschedule and conduct 1st year M.P.Ed examination for the petitioners in the 6th respondent college and publish the results.

2.In view of the interim order passed by this Court on 08.01.2026, the respondents 4 and 5 have verified the certificates relating to 39 petitioners on 12.01.2026 and they are found to be in order. 4/7

3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, all the 39 petitioners would be permitted to appear for rescheduled examination to be conducted between 20.01.2026 and 23.01.2026 and results would be published.
