ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's revision petition dated 30.09.2024 filed under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

According to the petitioner, he has filed an Appeal petition dated 09.05.2024 before the second respondent to challenge the order dated 30.09.2024 and the said appeal was disposed of by an impugned proceedings dated 03.09.2025. Aggrieved by the same, he has preferred statutory revision under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta passbook Act, 1983 before the first respondent and the same is pending. In the mean time the fourth respondent

taking undue advantage by projecting the name of his grand father suppressing the real fact is attempting to create indirect inference in the names of his son, thereby strengthening false claim. Hence, the present Writ Petition for early disposal of the revision petition.

4. The learned Government Adcoate for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioner's revision petition will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's revision petition dated 30.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The revision shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such
