ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus as against the first respondent to issue a passport to the petitioner, based upon the representation dated 28.08.2025.

2. According to the learned counsel for the second respondent, the petitioner was implicated in five criminal cases, out of which two cases were disposed of by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai. The learned counsel for the second respondent further brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner is implicated in Crime No.57 of 2023, which is under investigation. She further submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in two criminal cases in C.C.Nos.727/2023 and 320/2025, which are pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.3, Madurai. 2/4

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate No.3, Madurai, seeking permission to go abroad. In case an application is filed by the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.3, Madurai, shall disposed of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of the application. Based upon order to be passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
