O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already two civil suits in O.S.Nos.51 of 2003 and 108 of 2020 are pending between the petitioner and the third respondent on the file of the Principal District Court, Nanguneri and obtained a decree in her favour. Despite the same, the fourth respondent is continuously troubling the petitioner and sought indulgence of this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, on instructions, submitted that as against the judgment and decree Page No. 2 of 5

in O.S.No.108 of 2000, the fourth respondent has preferred A.S.No.26 of 2024 before the learned Principal Sub Judge, Nanguneri, however, no interim injunction has been granted by the Appellate Court.

4. This Court has heard both sides and perused the records.

5. Considering the civil nature of this case, the police is hesitating to meddle in the matter and had directed the petition to move the appellate court. Hence, the petitioner is directed to move the appellate court to protect his possesssion. The respondent police is directed to look into the matter as to whether any endangerment is prevailing for the life and limb of the petitioner and if any, take necessary steps to protect the life of the petitioner.
