This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to rectify the mistakes in revenue records more particularly the correct extent of the property in Town Survey No. C8/32, Padmanabhapuram B village (formerly Kalkulam village) Kalkulam taluk, Kanniyakumari District from the erroneous 0.00.15 hectares to the correct extent of 0.01.91 Hectares in line with the 3rd respondent's report in Na.Ka.AA2/1375/2024 dated 15.10.2024 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 15.10.2024 to the respondents for rectification of the mistakes in the revenue records. 2/5

However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the 2nd respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
