PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to survey the land to the petitioner with adequate police protection in the Survey Nos.437/5 (49 Cents) and 437/4 (33 Cents), which are situated in Chirangaatupatti Village, Senthurai Sub Register, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering his representation dated 25.11.2025.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to survey the land of the petitioner with adequate police protection in the Survey Nos.437/5 (49 Cents) and 437/4 (33 Cents), which are situated in Chirangaatupatti Village, Senthurai Sub Register, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering his representation dated 25.11.2025.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

According to the petitioner, he is the lawful owner and in possession of the lands comprised in Survey Nos.437/5 measuring 49 Cents and 437/4 measuring 33 Cents, situated at Chirangaatupatti Village, Senthurai Sub-Register, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. For the purpose of demarcation and proper identification of the petitioner's land, a representation dated 25.11.2025 was submitted to the fourth respondent requesting survey of the above lands. Due to obstruction and interference by third parties, the petitioner specifically sought adequate police protection to enable the survey to be conducted smoothly. Despite receipt of the said representation, the fourth respondent has failed to take any action, compelling the petitioner to approach this Court for the relief stated supra.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after considering the claims of the petitioner as well as the
adjacent land owners and also the interested persons, if any and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
