O R D E R

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Thiru.Ramachandran, writ petitioner is the review applicant. He complained of pay anamoly and sought stepping up of his pay. The learned single Judge allowed the writ petition vide order dated 29.06.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the State filed W.A.(MD)No.6 of 2023. We allowed the appeal filed by the State on the ground that the requirement set out in Rule 22(b) Ruling (2) has not been satisfied.

2. Admittedly, Thiru.Ramachandran and Thiru.Mohamed Ameen with whom he sought to compare himself were not in the same lower post. Thiru.Ramachandran was working as Health Inspector Grade I, while Thiru.Mohamed Ameen was working as Leprosy Inspector. They were also not drawing the same rate of pay. Therefore, their pay in the post of Health Inspector cannot be the same and this difference would not amount to pay anamoly. We do not find any error in our order.
