PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to the Respondents to include the name of the Petitioner-M.Anbumani in the birth certificate bearing registration number 115/2005/GH/03056, dated, 11.04.2005 and register the same in the original record of birth of GH of Madurai Corporation by considering the representation dated, 22.11.2025.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to include the name of the petitioner, namely, M.Anbumani in the birth certificate bearing registration No.115/2005/GH/03056 dated 11.04.2005 and register the same.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that though birth certificate has been issued on 03.06.2019, the name of the petitioner has not been incorporated. The petitioner has given a request on 22.11.2025. Since there is no representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner and issue a fresh birth certificate incorporating the name of the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8(eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
