PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.1 to pay family pension arrear Rs. 2,09,645/- from 29.11.2017 to 30.11.2018 along with interest on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. The petitioner with a grievance that family pension and arrears of family pension due to him have not been disbursed to him, has approached this Court.
2.In earlier occasion, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, this Court, by its order, dated 16.12.2025 has directed the learned Standing counsel for the respondent Corporation to get instructions on the averments made by this petitioner, and posted this matter today.
3.Today(05.01.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represents that the family pension due to this petitioner along with arrears of family pension have been settled by the respondent Corporation.
