The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondent municipal corporation to provide water service connection to the petitioner's house in Plot No.19, Sambakulam Village, Thallakulam Village, K.Pudur, Madurai South, Madurai District

2. Mr.K.K.Kannan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that request of the petitioner would be acceded within a period of eight (8) weeks.
