O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 and issue patta in his name in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.33/2A, situated at Ambagudi Group, Arasavayal Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivaganga District, measuring an extent of 0.83 Ares, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the property comprised in Survey No.33/2A, situated at Ambagudi Group, Arasavayal Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivaganga District, measuring an extent of 0.83 Ares, belongs to the petitioner and his family; that though the petitioner has repeatedly applied for patta, the respondents have not Page No. 2 of 5

taken any action for issuance of patta despite the petitioner having produced all the relevant revenue records; that on 17.11.2025, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the respondents; and that since the same has also not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed of on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The third respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and any other interested parties who may be affected by the Page No. 3 of 5
