ORDER

Seeking a direction to the third respondent to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his wife during his old age on the hands of the private respondents on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2025, this petition is filed. 2.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during his life time, the petitioner purchased the house property along with agricultural land measuring to an extent of 3 acres and 53 cents and constructed house and living there. After the marriage of respondents 4 and 5, they instructed the petitioner and his wife to vacate the house and insisted to make a settlement in their favour. More over, the respondents 4 and 5 continuously created obstacles to the peaceful life of the petitioner and his wife in their old age and prevented them from living in the petitioner's house. Hence, the petitioner seeks 2/5

protection as against his own son and daughter-in-law, who are respondents 4 and 5.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5.Considering the plight of the petitioner, who is a senior citizen, this Court hereby directs the third respondent to look into the matter and afford appropriate protection to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 19.12.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No vsg 3/5
