PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007, based on the petitioner's representation dated on 27.10.2025 within time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that notice has been issued to the parties on 24.11.2025 directing them to appear for an enquiry on 17.12.2025.

3. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the application made by the writ petitioner on or before 28.02.2026.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
