PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the objection of the petitioner dated 06.12.2025 and consequently restrain the respondents from providing electricity service connection to the property situated in Survey No.7/1 K. Rayavaram Revenue Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the objection of the writ petitioner dated 06.12.2025 and restrain the respondents from providing electricity service connection to the property situated in Survey No.7/1 K. Rayavaram Revenue Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that already the electricity service connection has been provided to one Mr.Ramu, as per his request.

3. In view of the above said facts, the writ petition stands disposed of by granting liberty to the writ petitioner to challenge the same, if he is so advised. No costs.
