This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to disburse the petitioner's balance bill amount of Rs.11,50,192/- for the work done for temporary restoration of flood damages in Kanyakumari District during 2021 monsoon as per the proceedings made by the 5th respondent dated 11.05.2023 and pass orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a Class I contractor doing various civil contracts works for various governmental and non-governmental organization. The petitioner has made a contract with the respondents for temporary restoration of flood damages, which was occurred due to rain fall during the north-east monsoon between 21.10.2019 and 31.10.2019. Though the petitioner has completed the work way back in the year 2021 itself, only part payment has been disbursed for the completion of the work and the remaining payments were not paid till date. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents seeks four months time to disburse the balance amount to the petitioner.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to disburse the balance bill amount of Rs.11,50,192/- to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
