ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2025 to grant patta to the petitioner's name and also directing the Government Authority do not disturbing the petitioner's possession in Survey No. 58/1 an total extent is 0.30.00 Acres in one part of 3 cents, which is at Kadavoor Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner submits that he is in lawful possession and enjoyment of the land comprised in Survey No.58/1, Kadavoor Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, measuring a total extent of 0.30.00 acres, including a portion measuring 3 cents. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 06.12.2025 to the third respondent seeking grant of patta in his name in respect of the said land. However, despite the said representation, no orders have been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a Writ of

Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and grant patta in his name in accordance with law.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
