ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.14870 of 2025 dated 02.06.2025, has not been complied with.
2.The petitioner with a grievance that terminal benefits due to him has not been paid, has approached this Court by way of a writ petition in WP.(MD)No.14870 of 2025 and this Court by its order dated 02.06.2025 has passed the following order:- 7.In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits. 2/5
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, by referring to the written instructions provided to him by the Administrator of the Cooperative Society dated 03.02.2026, submits that a sum of Rs.2,81,664/- towards retirement benefits has been paid, vide challan No.975577 dated 03.02.2026. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner disputed the amount paid by the respondents that the respondents are yet to pay some more amount to the petitioner.
5.Considering the nature of relief granted in the writ petition, this contempt petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law, if the amount has not been fully settled.
