This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate appropriate steps under Sections 78 and 80 of HR and CE Act as against the respondents 5 to 9 and retrieve the temple land of Arulmighu Keela Vasal Aadhisthala Porpanai Muneeswarar Kovil and 2/5

Arulmighu Vadakku Vasal Sri Porpanai Kaliamman Kovil, situated in S.F.No.121, Porpanaikottai Village, Veppangudi, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2025 within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

It is the case of the petitioner that according to the petitioner, the fifth respondent, without any permission from the respondents 1 to 4, is running a shop and sub-leasing other portion of the temple to the respondents 6 to 9. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has sent several representations before the respondents 1 to 4; however, no action was taken. Regarding the same issue, earlier the petitioner filed W.P.(MD) No.32318 of 2025. The same was disposed of on 13.11.2025 with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition impleading the respondents 5 to 9 as parties. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2025 would be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
