ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.347/4B which is situated at Sriramasamuthiram Revenue Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy DIStrict, based on his representation dated 03.11.2025.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thambidurai, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (crl.side), who takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the fourth respondent is causing trouble when the petitioner attempts to conduct survey in the petition mentioned property. Admittedly, patta stands in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits, directs the first respondent to issue notice notice to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and conduct survey in the petition mentioned property in the presence of the petitioner and the fourth respondent. The third respondent shall provide adequate police protection for the said survey. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
