ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue the patta with regard to the property in Sy.No. 872/2B admeasuring 5 acre 52 cents comprised in East Ayakudi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, she is the absolute owner of the subject property. She has made a formal representation dated 14.11.2025 requesting issuance of patta in respect of the property in Sy.No. 872/2B, admeasuring 5 acres 52 cents, situated in East Ayakudi Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District. Despite the representation being made, the respondents have not taken any action to issue the patta. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The first respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
