O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN) The Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal, dated 22.07.2025 filed by the Petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The Writ Petitioner, was appointed as Office Assistant in the District Court, Karur and then gradually promoted upto the post of Sheristadar in Karur District. On complaint, she was reverted back as Office Assistant, after enquiry. Challenging the reversal order, she has preferred an appeal to the Registrar General, High Court and the same is pending. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Registrar General to dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner within a time frame.

3.Considering the nature of the relief sought for in the Writ Petition and the report of the District Judge, Karur, who has stated 2/5

that he as an Appointing Authority and Disciplinary Authority, passed an order of reversal and a copy of the order was forwarded to the Registrar(Vigilance) on 26.06.2025. He further stated that the appeal filed by the Writ Petitioner is pending before the Registrar General, High Court. Taking note of the said fact, we are of the view that it is suffice to direct the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
