PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent herein to pay a sum of Rs. 16,20,000/- to the petitioner trust pursuant to the proceedings of the 4th respondent herein in Na.Ka.No. 3113/2018/H.1, dated 06.11.2018 by considering the petitioners representation dated 24.09.2025 within the time limit as stipulated by this Honble Court and to pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

O R D E R

1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pay a sum of Rs. 16,20,000/- to the petitioner Trust, pursuant to the proceedings dated 06.11.2018, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was entrusted with the maintenance of public toilets by the fourth respondent Municipality and claims to have maintained the same from 01.11.2018 to 31.10.2021 in accordance with the contract. However, despite such maintenance, the fourth respondent has not released the amount to which the petitioner is entitled under the work order.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's claim would be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.
