O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the first respondent to cancel the old scheme Decree framed by the Subordinate Court, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District in O.S. No. 4 of 1936 dated 20.12.1938 and consequently direct respondent Nos.1 to 4 to frame a new scheme for the proper administration of the fifth respondent Pallivasal by considering the Petitioners' representation dated 14.11.2025.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that they submitted a representation to respondent Nos.1 to 4 on 14.11.2025 seeking cancellation of the Old Scheme Decree framed by the Sub Court, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District and for formulation of a new Scheme. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioners have approached this Court.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the 3/5
petitioners dated 14.11.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 14.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
