ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct a survey of the lands comprised in Survey Nos.324/2A and 339/1B at Sukkampatti Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in question and that the representation seeking demarcation of its boundaries is pending without any progress.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2025 and demarcate the petitioner's land, after considering the claims of the petitioner and any other rival parties, if any, and to pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
