O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents herein to survey and measure the petitioner's property comprised in New Survey No.764, SubDivision 3A, measuring an extent of 0.04900 ares, situated at Kongampatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and consequently directing the third, fourth and fifth respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's property on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, dispensing with the notice to the fifth respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against him.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an application has been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question and a representation has also been submitted for police protection.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.11.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties including the private respondent and pass orders in Page No. 3 of 6

accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that if required, police assistance shall be taken subject to payment of the necessary charges by the petitioner. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
