ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take necessary action on the petitioner's complaint pending in CSR No.264 of 2025 by conducting an effective investigation as expeditiously as possible within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on the ground that there is no evidence or identification.

3. Such a ground cannot be a valid reason for closure of the complaint. Therefore, the respondents are directed to reopen the matter, conduct a proper enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
