ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.05 of 2021 as against all the named accused persons, this petition is filed.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, submitted that after completion of investigation, the final report has been filed as 'further action dropped' . 3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not educated and he is a resident of Kerala. He is not conversant with the procedures of the Tamil Nadu Police and hence, he was unable to cooperate with the investigation. However, he is in possession of all the required medical documents and other details as sought by the respondent police, and he is ready to produce the same.

4.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to reopen the case and the petitioner is directed to produce all necessary documents whatever 2/4

is required by the police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent police is directed to proceed the case in the manner known to law. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
