ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Special District Judge for MCOP Cases, Madurai, to dispose of the Execution Petition in E.P.No.133 of 2024 in M.C.O.P.No.13 of 2011, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order dated 27.01.2025, had directed the learned Special District Judge, Madurai, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending cases and in compliance of the same, the learned Special District Judge for MCOP Cases, Madurai, had sent a report vide proceedings D.No.96, dated 07.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2017 to 2026, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 1516 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2024 is 490.

3.Since the present case is of the year 2024, the learned Special District Judge for MCOP Cases, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case in E.P.No. 133 of 2024 in M.C.O.P.No.13 of 2011 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
