ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register and release the sale deed dated 11.12.2025 kept pending in 1/4

Document No.P 163/2025 forthwith on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 12.12.2025.

2. Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have given a representation on 12.12.2025 to register and release the sale deed dated 11.12.2025, which is kept pending in Document No.P 163/2025 by stating that the sale deed is undervalued. However, the same is yet to be considered. He would submit that in the event any undervaluation is found, then the procedures contemplated under Section 47A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 shall be followed. Hence, he prayed for allowing this Writ Petition. 2/4

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent will register the document presented by the petitioners by following due procedures.

6. In view of the submissions made on either sides, this Court directs the respondent either to register the document presented by the petitioners or in the event of any undervaluation being found, to follow the procedures contemplated under Section 47A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
