ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land with an extent of 2.75 cents in Survey No.20 at Mudhalayarpatti Panjayat, South Kadaiyam Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 17.11.2025 for issuance of patta for the land to an extent of 2.75 cents in Survey No.20 at Mudhalayarpatti Panjayat, South Kadaiyam Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be 2/4

considered by the respondents 2 and 3 within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if there are rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil court.There shall be no order as to costs.
