This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein to issue patta to the petitioners in respect of the land with an extent of 6.58 cents in Survey No.30/1 at Mudhalayarpatti Panjayat, South Kadaiyam Village, Tenkasi Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioners' representation dated 17.11.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioners submitted a representation on 17.11.2025 to the respondents 2 and 3 for issuance of patta. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioners would be considered by the respondents 2 and 3 within a time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioners' representation dated 17.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
