O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent for re-issuance/renewal of passport to the petitioner based upon his application dated 17.11.2025 and his explanation dated 06.12.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that a criminal case is pending as against the petitioner in C.C.No.91 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Singampuneri.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned, seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks. Depending upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Singampuneri, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
