ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Special Court of SC / ST Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.184 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

The case of the prosecution is that already there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, due to which, On 20.02.2025, an altercation occurred between the petitioner and the de facto complainant and thereafter, the petitioner herein scolded the defacto complainant in filthy language, assaulted her and 2/5

threatened her with dire consequences. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby directs the learned Special Court of SC / ST Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.184 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
