The writ petition was disposed of on 18.12.2025. However, it has been listed today under the caption 'For Being Mentioned', at the request of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that only one criminal case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.214 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam. He further submits that the reference to Crime No.340 of 2025 does not relate to the petitioner.

3. The case was listed yesterday, and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) was directed to verify whether the petitioner was involved in Crime No.340 of 2025 on the file of the third respondent. Upon verification, the learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner is not involved in Crime No.340 of 2025. The said fact is recorded.

4. In view of the above facts, the last two lines in paragraph No.3 are directed to be deleted and a fresh order copy shall be issued to the petitioner on 06.02.2026.

5. Registry is directed to amend the cause title with regard to the third respondent by mentioning the correct name of the police station as 'Jeyamangalam Police Station'.
