ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent, with the assistance of the second respondent, to survey and demarcate the petitioner's punja lands in S.No.144/2 to the extent of 0.41.50 Ares (1 Acre 2 Cents), in S.No.144/4 to the extent of 0.26.50 Ares (66 Cents), and in S.No.144/6 to the extent of 1.00.0 Ares (2.46 Cents) in Senkattupatti Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, after considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property in question and that the representation seeking demarcation of its boundaries is pending without any progress.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

6. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2025 and demarcate the petitioner's land, after considering the claims of the petitioner, the third respondent and any other rival parties, if any, and to pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
