ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to record in the village records the allotment of the house site made by the second respondent vide his proceeding Aa7/Vee.Maa.Vi. 14/1416, dated 15.06.2007, and to issue a Patta in the petitioners' names within a period to be stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The grievance of the petitioners is that a free house site Patta had earlier been issued in the names of the petitioners' mother.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the area is identified as a Well.
5. One fails to understand how the Patta was issued if it was a Well way back in 2007. However, in view of the representation made, it shall be disposed of on its merits.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 27.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
