JUDGMENT
The appellant filed this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal to set aside the fair and decretal order dated 13.09.2024 passed in G.W.O.P.No.287 of 2021 by the Principal District Court, Tirunelveli.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today (29.01.2026), both sides learned counsel submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and that a Joint Compromise Memo, along with an affidavit of the respondent, has also been filed. The appellant as well as the respondent are present before this Court and are identified by their respective counsel. The identity proofs of the parties are also verified. The contents of the Joint Compromise Memo are read over and explained to both parties in the presence of their counsel, and both parties confirmed that the same is correct. Accordingly, the said Joint Compromise Memo is recorded.
3. In view of the terms of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is allowed, and the order dated 13.09.2024 passed by the learned Principal District Judge, Tirunelveli, in G.W.O.P.No.287 2/4
of 2021 is set aside. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of the decree. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
