ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey, measure, and demarcate the boundaries of the first petitioner's property, measuring 69 cents on the western side of 1 Acre 38 Cents, comprised in Survey No.95/9C1, and the second petitioner's property, measuring 69 cents on the eastern side of 1 Acre 38 Cents, comprised in Survey No.95/9C2, situated at Kodalvavi Village, West Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the respective representations dated 21.11.2025, within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the absolute owners of the respective properties in question and that the representations seeking the demarcation of the boundaries of their properties are pending without any progress.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' respective representations dated 21.11.2025 and demarcate the petitioners' lands, after considering the claims of the petitioners and any other rival parties, if any, and to pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
