ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner' s Application No.2025/0103/15/516284 dated 25.09.2025 and to grant mutation and patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey No.340/11A, measuring an extent of 0.16.23 hectares (40 cents), situated at Paluvangi East, Kavandampatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner submits that she is the lawful owner of the land comprised in Survey No.340/11A, measuring 0.16.23 hectares (40 cents), situated at Paluvangi East, Kavandampatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District. The petitioner has submitted Application No.2025/0103/15/516284 dated 25.09.2025 seeking mutation and grant of patta in her name. Despite the submission of the application, no orders have been passed by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application and grant patta in accordance with law.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.09.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
