O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 345 days in filing the above writ appeal.
2. Mr.M.Mohaboob Fazil, learned counsel has entered appearance for the respondent.
3. The State through its Chief Engineer, has preferred this appeal against the order passed by the learned Single Judge in batch of writ petitions on the ground that the order impugned was passed at the time of admission itself without affording opportunity to the State. However, there is a substantial delay in filing appeal. In the affidavit accompanying the petition for condoning the delay, the reason for the delay is elaborately explained. Hence, we are satisfied that the reason stated is sufficient and we are inclined to condone the delay.
4. Accordingly, the petition for condonation of delay of 345 is allowed and the delay of 345 days in filing appeal is condoned.
5. Registry is directed to number the writ appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the same for admission in the usual course. [G.J., J.] [K.K.R.K., J.] 19.02.2026 NCC :
