To grant extension of time to comply the order passed in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.16666 of 2025 in Crl.R.C(MD).No.406 of 2024 before the Honourable Court dated 11.11.2025.
ORDER
The present Criminal Miscellaneous petition is filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order passed by this Court in C Crl.M.P.(MD)No.16666 of 2025 in Crl.R.C(MD).No.406 of 2024 dated 11.11.2025.
2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court had permitted the petitioner to file an application for withdrawal of Rs.1,50,000/- before the trial Court within a period of ten days, i.e., from 11.11.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner was unable to file the application for withdrawal of sum of Rs.1,50,000/- within the time prescribed by this Court vide order dated 11.11.2025 in Crl.MP.(MD).No.16666 of 2025 in Crl.RC(MD).No.406 of 2024. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking extension of time to file an application before the trial Court for withdrawal of Rs.1,50,000/-.
3. Mr.S.Ramakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent, has stated that he has no objection to allowing this petition.
4. In view thereof, the petitioner herein is permitted to file an application before the trial Court for withdrawal of Rs.1,50,000/-, which was already deposited by the respondent herein before the trial Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if any such application is filed by the petitioner herein within the time stipulated by this Court, the trial Court is directed to dispose of such application within a period of ten days thereafter. It is made clear that this Court has ordered the present petition solely for extension of the time period, and that all other conditions imposed by this Court vide order dated 11.11.2025 in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.16666 of 2025 in Crl.RC. (MD) No.406 of 2024 shall remain unaltered.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous petition is ordered. 29-01-2026 gvn
