ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus directing the second respondent to delete the name of the petitioner from the history sheet in 332 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent by considering representation dated 05.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (crl.side), who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has sent a representation to the respondents requesting to delete his name in the history sheet in H.S.No.332 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent police. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits, directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry in respect of the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2025 after issuing notice to the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
